Psychedelic Wedding Stationery – John & Rebecca got married last weekend and had got in touch with Wedfest looking for us to design them a Psychedelic Wedding Poster as part of their wedding stationery which they could display at their wedding. They were holding their wedding reception in a TeePee at Valle Crucis Abbey, Llangollen in Wales so they wanted to feature the ruins of the Valle Crucis Abbey and have the image of their wedding tipi in front of the ruins. The main design objective was that they wanted it to look like a Psychedelic Concert Poster using Psychedelic and Art Nouveau design styles. we loved this idea and couldn’t wait to get started on the design.
Psychedelic Art Nouveau Wedding Stationery
The main heading for thePsychedelic Wedding Poster was HEATHFIELDS which is what the couple titled their wedding. Below this was the text ‘A weekend of music, love and the big I Do’ which was a nod to the famous line on the Woodstock Poster ‘3 Days of Peace and Music’. We used a quite Psychedelic typeface for all the text as it looked great when distorted and curved around the lines of the poster. At the top of the poster their was also 2 doves also famous and commonly found on Psychedelic Posters back in the 60′ and 70’s. At the bottom was the wedding venue name and the date and below this was a CND symbol more commonly known as the peace symbol with the couples initials and love hearts on either side.

As you cans see it was very easy to adapt the colour scheme of this design and can be changed to suit any wedding colour scheme easily. Not only does this make a great poster for a wedding but also is perfect for psychedelic wedding invitations and other types of psychedelic wedding stationery.
