Amy and Mark, lovers of all things ROCK! wanted to showcase their love of rock n roll and heavy metal music in their wedding and what better way to do it than through the visuals of their wedding stationery. After searching the internet for some awesome and hard rocking rock n roll wedding invitations and wedding stationery, they arrived where you all rock and roll brides and grooms do, yes right here at Wedfest, and are we are pleased to meet you 🙂

Amy and Mark got in touch and had a clear idea of what they wanted in terms of the title and theme for their wedding stationery and just needed Wedfest to bring it to life. They wanted to call their wedding ‘BAKERFEST‘ after Mark’s surname ‘THE BALL AND CHAIN TOUR‘ in the style of a rock bands concert tour name.

The couple wanted to start of by sending out wedding save the dates in the form of festival style wristbands. The colour scheme they wanted was purple to match the brides amazing purple hair. As you can see in the photographs the save the date wristbands are super cool. Over the main part of the wristband they state ‘BAKERFEST: THE BALL AND CHAIN TOUR’ then on the two tails they the wedding date and the words ‘save the date’

The gold text on the wristbands looks really cool and we added some rock and roll style lightening bolts just to hammer home this wedding is going to be hard rockin’! The beautiful bride also wore the wristbands on the wedding day and it was a perfect accessory to complement her amazing purple hair, super cool tattoo’s, multi coloured bracelets and cool purple Nike trainers.

Next up was the wedding invitations. For these the couple wanted them in the style of a concert ticket and to feature a design showcasing a rock concert. This is where the wedding stationery really came to life as we were able to create a large logo for BAKERFEST and lay out the couples names in the style of festival headline acts.

There is a lot of really cool details in the wedding invites such as guitars, lightening bolts and much more, and as you can see in the photos they look amazing and are even more so in the flesh.

Next up was the wedding day stationery. First of we made the couple a really cool wedding seating plan in the style of a rock festival line up poster. The Bakerfest logo and couples names featured at the top with each of the wedding tables being named after a rock festival that they couple have attended such as Download, Reading Festival, Sonisphere, Rock Am Ring, Monsters of Rock, Hellfest etc. The seating plan looks amazing and is the perfect way for any rock music fans to welcome their wedding guests to their wedding reception.

Finally for the wedding tables and wedding guests we made these super cool festival VIP lanyard pass programmes which the guests could wear at the wedding. The vip pass programmes doubled as wedding place name cards so each guest could see where they were to sit at.

The lanyard cards contained much more information for the wedding guests such as the wedding menu, running order times and a thank you note from the bride and groom. These lanyards really add to the festival / concert feel of the day and are an amazing wedding favour / keepsake for the guests to take away from them.

This was a super fun set of wedding stationery to work on and as you can see in the photos the outcome was top class. We would like to congratulate and thank Amy and Mark for their custom and wish them all the best for their future together. The couple’s wedding looked to be extremely fun and no doubt when the sun went down the air guitars came out in force.
