Fiona & Richard’s Better Together Festival Wedding Stationery – Back in June of this year Fiona and Richard had their wedding at Weston Hall, Stafford and to celebrate they threw their very own festival wedding called BETTER TOGETHER. The couple got in touch with Wedfest earlier in the year looking for us to design and make them some beautiful festival themed wedding stationery for their big day, and of course they came to the right place!
The first thing we worked on with the couple was their wedding invitations which they wanted in the style of festival tickets. The main colours for the wedding were going to be green, yellow and silver so this was the colour palette we had to work with when designing the invitations. The wedding invitations feature a festival scene with a large stage with a band playing and the festival crowd in the foreground. In the background is the silhouettes of a large ferris wheel which is a usual fixture at a music festival and some large festival tents and teepee’s in the distance. In the very background is a large sun blasting sun ray’s high into the sky all in the colour scheme requested by the Bride to be. At the very top of the invite we added some festival style bunting and below this is the the name of the festival in large text reading BETTER TOGETHER.
On the reverse side of the festival ticket wedding invites is the full wedding invitation information with full details of times, locations, dates and who is invited etc. The invites also feature our popular ticket style RSVP stub which can be easily tore off and sent back to the soon to be married couple.
Since the couple were having quite a large wedding they also had separate wedding evening reception invitations for evening reception only guests. These invites featured the same design as the day time invites but with a different colour scheme to reflect night time or early evening at a music festival with purples and blues and fireworks going off in the sky. All in all these wedding invitations look totally awesome!!! Who would not be excited for a wedding if you received one of these invites??
For the wedding day and reception itself the bride went all out to create an awesome festival experience for her guests. Starting from the moment the guests arrived at Weston Hall they were greeted with a large wedding running order poster listing the timings and events of the including the ceremony time, dinner time, party time and most importantly – the last orders time!!
Once the ceremony was over the guests then moved into the main reception room where the room was beautiful decorated in a festival style featuring beautiful festival themed wedding table decorations. The flowers in the centre of the tables all were inside large welly boots which really brought the festival vibe to the event. As you can see in the photos taken by the couples wedding photographer Martin Pawlett Photography the room and wedding tables looked totally amazing. We would like to thank Martin for letting us share these beautiful photos of the wedding with you and we recommend you check out his website at www.martinpawlett.co.uk where you can see much more of his amazing wedding photography work.
As the guests entered the room they were again greeted with another festival style poster this time in the form of a festival themed wedding table plan. We designed the couples wedding table plan in the style of a festival line up poster carrying through the same design that we used in the invites.
The couple named each of the tables after one of their favourite albums and had the top table named as the HEADLINERS!
We made matching wedding table name cards for each of the wedding tables as you can see in the photos beautifully photographed by Martin Pawlett Photography.
On the reverse side of the wedding table names we had the wedding menu again all using the same design and colours throughout making the table decor really bright and colourful.
When the guests sat down at the their seats amongst other festival style wedding favour treats each wedding guest had their own festival style vip lanyard which doubled as a wedding place name card at the wedding tables. The VIP Lanyards as you can see had each persons name written in the box and on the reverse had more details of the wedding. Each guest could then wear their lanyard throughout the rest of the evening adding to the festival spirit of the event.
The couple also had a super cool wedding post box in the style of a VW Campervan so we also made them a poster to sit alongside this telling people to leave their wedding cards at the postbox.
All these little design details together made this a beautiful wedding and with the room filled with guests parting and a beautiful bride and groom all of these details came to life and added a little something extra to the day.
We would like to wish Fiona & Richard all the best for their future together which no doubt will be BETTER TOGETHER.
