Ibiza Travel Brochure Wedding Invitation

We have been excited for a long time to show of this absolutely beautiful new design we have worked on for a couples wedding in Ibiza. Stacey and Michael got in touch with Wedfest after seeing some of our other amazing Ibiza wedding invitations and they wanted us to create them something just as cool for their upcoming destination wedding in Ibiza, Spain.

Ibiza Wedding Invites

The idea was to have a Travel Brochure style Wedding Invitation which would contain all the information of the wedding day, and also include lots of helpful information for the wedding guests who would be travelling out to Spain for the wedding.

The first thing the couple told us was that they wanted the design to be really fun an vibrant and be a good reflection of what Ibiza is all about. Right away the first idea was to half some sort of nod to the amazing Ibiza sunshine and sunset which is very famous.

The colour pallet of orange, yellow and blue was instant to represent the sun and the sea. Around the same time we were doing some other watercolour style designs for other couples and this watercolour style lends itself perfectly to the idea of the sun / sunset over the ocean.

On the front cover of the holiday brochure we have the text at the very top saying ‘The wedding of Stacey and Michael‘ and then below this we have the word ‘IBIZA‘ in huge letters in a beautiful sharp font just like you would see anywhere around the island on billboards advertising the many clubs and club nights. Below this is the date of the wedding and at the very bottom of the design is the words ‘Travel Guide‘ to let the wedding guests know that this is more than just a wedding invitation but a helpful guide to the wedding week in Ibiza.

The brochure was a 3 fold style brochure with 6 pages in total. The first page as you open up the invite has the actual wedding invitation details with information about where and when the wedding will take place as well as times and addresses of the venues for the day of the wedding.

The next page is a wedding week itinerary which lets wedding guests know what the couple are planning to do on their week in Ibiza so they can join in the activities if they wish.

Following this is a page of recommend hotel accommodation in Ibiza for the wedding guests, which is a must for a destination wedding invitation. There is hotels listed for every budget from 1 star to 5 star and in every part of the island so the wedding guests can choose themselves what suits them budget wise and where in Ibiza they would like to be located. All the backgrounds and design on these pages follow the watercolour style we used from the front of the wedding invite and all of the colours on the pages are vibrant and in line with the feel of Ibiza.

The next page in the travel brochure wedding invitation is a list of the couples favourite Ibiza Locations.

These range from the couples favourite bars, nightclubs and restaurants to the Ibiza Hippy Market and the locations of the wedding including San Carlos Church. These locations are all numbered and the locations are then also numbered on the map on the back page of the invitation so the guests can work out where in the island each place is.

Ibiza travel themed wedding invitations

Which takes us on to the back page of the travel themed wedding invitation which is the map of Ibiza Island. The map has all of the couples key locations marked out in numbers so the wedding guests can easily see where in the island the wedding church is, the reception venue and the couples other recommended bars, restaurants and destinations to check out in Ibiza.

As you can see this holiday brochure style wedding invitation is very informative and a perfect idea for couples planning a destination wedding wherever it is in the world.

As well as being highly informative and useful especially with the map of the island it also looks amazing with its beautiful design and bright vibrant colours, anyone getting this invite through the post couldn’t help but be super excited for your wedding in the sun. As soon as you see the word IBIZA you know its going to be amazing!!
