Ireland vs England Rugby Wedding Invitations – last year we launched a range of Rugby ticket wedding invitations to go along side our very popular football ticket wedding invites and it seems the Rugby loving fans out there love them as much as the football fans.

One of our ideas for the rugby ticket themed wedding invites was for couples who are from different nations to have an international rugby ticket for their wedding invites representing their respective countries. Of course with most of our customers coming from the UK and Ireland this is a great opportunity to make a play on the 6 Nations Rugby Tournament and the result for customers from the home nations is we have produced these awesome 2 Nations Rugby Wedding Invites.

Janice and Michael who are from England and Ireland are both huge Rugby fans and both love the 6 nations so this was the perfect wedding invitation for them. The wedding invites are designed to look like a rugby ticket and feature a red rose for the English team and a Green Shamrock to represent the Irish.

The small details on the invitations also were the type of small print you may find on a rugby ticket or football ticket but all of the information was relating to the actual wedding itself, such as times, dates and other useful info.

Since these wedding invites are ticket style they also have a perforated ticket stub which doubles as the wedding RSVP card. On these the wedding guests can fill out whether they can attend the wedding or not and send the RSVP card back to the couple in a pre addressed envelope also provided with the invitations.

Some of the feedback we received on these invites was that some of the guests thought they had been sent actual tickets to the 6 nations, how disappointing then to find out its only a wedding invitation!! haha!! well an amazing wedding invitation at that. Other wedding guests didn’t want to tear off the RSVP card as they didn’t want to ruin the invitation. 🙂

So really these invites are more than just a wedding invite, they are a memento from your wedding and one that no doubt your invited guests will keep on display for a very long time.

So as the 6 nations is readying to kick off for another year Janice and Michael will be happily married and will be settling into watching their first 6 nations as a married couple, hopefully if they are attending the England vs Ireland rugby match they take the correct tickets and not one of their wedding invites by mistake!!! :-0 🙂
