Owl you need is Love Wedding Invitations

Owl themed Wedding

Jenni and Chris who got married in the Galgorm Resort and Spa last summer had got in touch with Wedfest telling us they were planning an Owl themed Wedding and wanted us to create them some Owl themed wedding invitations. Their idea was to have two Owls (a boy Owl and a girl Owl) sitting on a branch on a tree, and for the style they wanted the design to look like it was hand stitched with a sewing needle so we added in some sewing and patchwork references to the design.

For the main text of the wedding invitation cover they wanted it to say Jenni and Chris are getting married, then at the bottom they wanted it to say ‘Owl you need is love‘ in tribute to the Beatles classic All you need is love, with an awesome Owl twist!! 🙂

As you can see the Owl you need is love wedding invitations turned out really great looking.

For the inside of the invitations we continued the sewing and patchwork theme with a little quote the couple had chosen and worked it into the design as if it was sewn in. The right hand side of the inside then featured the main wedding invitation details.

The reverse side of the owl wedding invitations continued the sewing theme and featured the couples names and wedding date.

The Owl themed wedding did not stop there… the owl themed wedding invites were only the beginning. Check out these awesome photos below that the couple sent us after the wedding…

…yes that is the Bride and Groom holding an Owl! A very special guest on their wedding day who flew down the aisle to present the wedding rings to the Bride and Groom, awesome or what!!! Well played Mr Owl, or Mrs Owl…? not sure on that one… as if that was not exciting enough, the fun did not stop there either…

Here you can see the couple standing beside their amazing Owl themed wedding cake!! How cool does that look? With the Bride and Groom Owl cake toppers just to finish it all off perfectly.
