Paul & Adele’s Glasto Themed Festival Wedding

We have been sitting on this one for a while… for a full year actually as these guys have just celebrated their first wedding anniversary last week! Introducing Paul & Adele and their festival inspired wedding – KELLYFEST!

We first met Paul & Adele randomly on our Christmas Night out a few years ago. They were visiting their cousins who are our close friends and we had an all round great night! Christmas Jumpers, Christmas Markets, lots and lots of Pints, Jägerbomb’s, dancing and much fun!! But for the purposes of this story we know Paul & Adele from Glastonbury Festival.

Each year that we have been lucky enough to get tickets we have met up with these guys and their massive crew of family and close friends, and had many good times down on Worthy Farm. I once remember saying to Adele (at the very muddy Other Stage while Mark Ronson was on stage killing it) that if her and Paul were ever to get married WEDFEST will be designing their wedding invitations!! Glastonbury Inspired Festival Wedding

So for a festival loving couple like Paul & Adele it was a no brainer that they would be having a festival themed wedding. Of course their favourite festival of all is Glastonbury so there was always going to be a little bit of Glastonbury inspiration in their wedding planning.

For our part, like we said! We are going to design your wedding invitations, and that we did! The couples married surname was going to be Kelly so the title KELLYFEST was an obvious and awesome choice.

We discussed with the guys what they wanted for their wedding invitations and the inspiration was total Glasto!

Glasto Themed Festival Wedding Invitations

For the design of the wedding invitations we created a Festival style scene. In the background was a festival crowd, festival flags and a few cows and tents.

Festival Wedding Transport

For their wedding transport they had some super cool Vehicles! One was the VW Camperbus you see below…

and the other was this awesome double decker big red bus…

The wedding itself was held in Vanstone Park, Hitchin, not far from another famous concert venue you may have heard of – Knebworth!

Festival Teepee Tents Wedding

The couple held their wedding reception in these awesome festival teepee tents you see in the photos and the whole day had a full on festival feel.

Festival Wedding Wristband Favours

As part of their wedding favours and decoration we made the couple customised KELLYFEST Festival Wedding Wristbands for all their guests to wear throughout the wedding reception.

The custom made wristbands featured their names, wedding date and the name of the wedding festival KELLYFEST on the main part of the wristband, and as you can see in the photos these looked awesome on all of the wedding guests.

Wedding Photo Goals

Now as for Paul & Adele and their bridal party we have to say these guys kind of killed it in the wedding photos… I dare you to show me a bunch of cooler mother fuckers than this lot in the next series of photos! And I mean especially in this first one!! This is so super cool! This could/should be on the cover of a magazine. What a Gang!!

Now everything above is a cool as ice but let’s crack open a few flares and heat this shit up and… I mean come on!! These are some of the coolest wedding photos we have ever seen…

The After Party

So as you can see the wedding looked awesome and the party went off with a bang! But not to finish their the guys also hired a Glasto favourite with the New York Brass Band to close the night out and it looks like it was a night to remember.

We loved working with Paul & Adele on their wedding and delighted with how their wedding stationery turned out. Everyone loved their wedding wristbands and the guys even sent us this cool photo from their Honeymoon in Mauritius, still wearing their KELLYFEST wristbands on the beach!
