Psychedelic Wedding Invitations

Psychedelic Poster Wedding Invitations – William and Sally got in touch with Wedfest when planning their wedding looking for us to design them some cool looking Psychedelic Wedding Invitations for their big day. They were hosting their wedding on Williams parents farm and were having a really fun 60’s themed Wedding were they asked all their wedding guests to dress up in 60’s fancy dress with loads of hippies, rockers and mods all expected to turn out on the day of the wedding. Overall they wanted to create a very Psychedelic themed Wedding.

For the wedding invites they wanted something similar to the super cool 1960’s Psychedelic Music and Concert Posters which were very popular back in the day. They wanted the wedding invite in the style of a ticket so that the guests could easily tear off the RSVP stub and send back their reply. We researched the style and layouts of the Psychedelic Posters and looked at what type of fonts and imagery they used and set out to design the wedding invitation.

The couple called their wedding FORDERFEST so this was to be the main title and focus of the design. The wedding invite design turned out really cool as you can see in the photos and really set the tone for the couples Psychedelic Themed Wedding.

For the day of the wedding to keep in with a festival theme the couple also got us to make them customised festival style wedding wristbands as wedding favours for the guests.

Using similar colours and fonts from the wedding invites we designed the festival wristbands to match the style of the invites we had already created. The wristbands featured the name of the event FORDERFEST as the main focus of the wristband with a peace sign in place of the O. On the tails of the wristbands we featured the couples names and wedding date.

We are really happy with the results of this psychedelic themed wedding stationery. The couple were very happy with the results and the designs are perfect for anyone who loves all things Psychedelic or want something really retro and cool for their wedding stationery.
