Rugby Ticket Wedding Invitations – It is nearly time for the Rugby World Cup to start and the warm up games are currently taking place between the home nations. The Irish Rugby team are the current 6 nations rugby champions and they will be hoping they can go all the way this year but all the home nations are in without a shout and you can never look past England, Wales or Scotland. For 2 of our customers Marie & Gary they will be super excited come September but they will each be supporting their respective counties of Wales and Ireland so it will be interesting if the two clash. But of course these two are well used to this scenario as every year Ireland and Wales meet in the 6 nations championship and ever year they go head to head (in a good way 🙂 ) supporting their team. It was after all at a 6 nations match that this couple met. Gary from Cardiff, Wales and Marie from Dublin, Ireland met after a 6 nations game a few years back. Fast forward a few years and with a wedding on the horizon they couple decided they wanted something different for their wedding invitations and wanted to somehow include their love of rugby in their wedding and thats when they got in touch with Wedfest looking for us to make them Rugby Ticket Wedding Invitations.

They wanted their Rugby Ticket Wedding Invites in the style of a 6 nations Rugby ticket and wanted it to feature both Ireland and Wales in a similar fashion to the football ticket wedding invitations we make. Since there is only 2 nations involved in this match up we renamed the tickets the “2 Nations Wedding”. Although in reality the ticket needs to say Ireland vs Wales they wanted to soften this somehow as its not VS each other so we changed this to Ireland loVes Wales and made the V in love stand out more. Genius we know!! We designed the ticket to feature all the usual things you would see on a rugby match ticket such as the barcodes, kick off time which is the time of the wedding and of course all the usual details needed for a wedding invite.
