Sam & Paul’s Wedstock Music Festival Wedding

Sam & Paul’s Wedstock Music Festival Wedding – Sam and Paul got in touch earlier in the year looking for me to create their wedding stationery for their music festival wedding. The couple are both huge music fans and Paul plays guitar in a band so a music themed festival wedding was the obvious choice for them.

The couple were planning on having a boho festival chic type of vibe for their wedding day and wanted to reflect this in their wedding stationery. They wanted the invite design to include the idea of a music festival but not totally in your face and wanted to give the idea of an outdoors type of event. They like some of the earlier festival ticket wedding invites I had created so it was just a matter of adjusting these and personalising them to suit the soon to be married couple.

The festival wedding invites were ticket style so they had a ticket stub RSVP card which could be easily tore off by the wedding guests and sent back in a pre addressed rsvp envelope to the couple with some further information about how many guests are attending.

The main title of the wedding was WEDSTOCK FESTIVAL 2014 and the wedding invite design laid out the couples names as the festival headline acts with the date of the wedding below. There is lots of daisies at the bottom of the image and this would later be a feature of the wedding day itself as the wedding flowers would feature daisies so it all tied in nicely. This is one of Wedfest’s most popular festival wedding invite designs and it lends itself brilliantly to the rest of the wedding stationery as you will see below.

The reverse side of the invite had the fuller wedding information and a space for the couple to write the names of the wedding guests who were going to be invited.

To go along with the wedding invite I also made the couple wedding information cards to send out to their guests with the invites.

These were really informative and had lots of information about the wedding such as the running order of the wedding day, directions and parking information and a map of the local area to help guests find their way from St Nicholas Church, Newton Blossomville, which is where they got married to the wedding reception venue.

The reverse side of the wedding info card also had lots more information such as accommodation information and contact details for the local hotels, wedding gift information, transport info, and information about the following days activities and timings as the couple had a bIg party the day after the wedding, it was a festival after all!

As you can the couple really worked the boho chic look for their wedding day and they both looked great, Sam in her Claire Pettibone wedding dress and Paul rocking the Tweed look, super cool!

In the photos above you can see it was every bit the festival wedding, Sam and Paul were transported in a VW Campervan and Paul’s band played at the wedding and you can see him rocking out on the guitar, how cool is that! For the wedding day I designed and made the couples festival wedding table plan which you can see them standing beside in the photo above.

The table plan design followed on using the same festival style design from the wedding invites. Each of the wedding tables was name after legendary bands or artists such as Jimi Hendrix, The Smiths, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley etc.

To compliment the wedding table plan I also made the matching wedding table cards which again featured the bands and artists from the table plan made the wedding tables easy to identify for the guests. Note the flowers in the centre of the table perfectly complimenting the daisies in the wedding stationery artwork.
