Vinyl Record Themed Wedding Invites – I have been looking forward to posting these invite photos up for a while now. These beautiful Vinyl Record Themed Wedding Invites were created for a couple called Holly & Jonathan from Colorado in the USA, who got married last month in the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The couple got in touch with me looking for me to design them some music themed wedding invites. We talked back and forth about what they wanted and they sent me some samples of concert posters and concert ticket designs they liked. What was stood out in all the designs they liked was that they all had lots of colour going on and were all busy looking in the foreground and the background, lots to look at all over the designs.

When we were trying to focus the design theme more they told me that they loved vinyl records and it would be cool to design the invitations around this idea. The obvious route to go was to design a vinyl record cover style wedding invite, but because they loved going to gigs they wanted to have the concert ticket style wedding invites with the tear off ticket stub RSVPs. Looking through some of my other designs they also pointed out that they loved the vintage microphone and musical notes which I featured in other designs, so with all this in mind and lots of colour to be splashed on the invites I set about designing and the result was the super cool design you see here.

The main focus of the invitation design is the vinyl record right in the middle of the invite with the couples names curved around the record. In the middle of the vinyl record where you would usually find the track listing and record information is the time and date of the wedding, with the word ‘and’ also separating the names of Holly and Jonathan. Behind the vinyl is black paint splatters also turning into musical notes. In the very background is a multi coloured stage background with lights focusing down in the record right in the middle. There is a banner above and below the record with the bottom one giving the location of the wedding. The main body of the invite designs is finished with an old school vintage microphone to the left and the image of an old record player to the right all surrounded by lots of splashes of colour.

The reverse side of the wedding invite features more information about the wedding and has everything laid out in a more formal manner for people to easily see the details of the wedding.

Although I love everything about this design I think my favourite part is the RSVP cards. These are at the end of the invite in a ticket stub style and they feature a vinyl record with the letters RSVP simply written in white, they just look super cool and certainly the coolest vinyl record RSVP wedding cards I have seen or worked on to date.

The rsvp cards are of course detachable as these are ticket style invites and on the reverse side of the RSVP cards there is options for the wedding guests to accept or reject the wedding invitation and details of when to reply by.

These vinyl record themed wedding invitations are perfect for anyone who is a lover of vinyl records or couples that are music fans and want something a bit retro or quirky for their wedding invites. There is lots of vinyl record wedding invites out there at the minute but none that look as cool as these ones, anyone who received this in the door could not help but smile and be excited to attend such a cool wedding!
