Watercolour Festival Wedding Invitations

We have been meaning to post these wedding invitation photos for a while, but as we are so busy creating new and exciting designs for all our fabulous customers it gets harder to find the time to post up the new designs as often as we would like. But that being said, today we would like to marvel in the beauty of these gorgeous Wedfest Watercolour Festival Wedding Invitations.

Bride to be Gemma got in touch with Wedfest last year after seeing some of our other watercolour wedding invitation designs and wanted something similar created for her wedding stationery.

Gemma and Husband to be Matthew had a festival themed wedding at The Pheasant Hotel in Harome, near Helmsley, and they wanted some Wedfest festival themed wedding invitations to set the tone for the big day.

The couple had a few requests for the design of the invitation. First of all they wanted the wedding invites to be designed in a watercolour painting style. Next they wanted to feature a VW Campervan as that was to be their wedding transportation. They wanted to feature a Barn like building similar to the style of the The Pheasant Hotel. And finally they wanted to feature a Pheasant in tribute to the hotel where they were getting married….and off to work we went!

The invites turned out really beautiful looking and even the photos themselves do not do them justice. We printed the wedding invitations on a beautiful textured Gesso card which has the feel of watercolour paper so it is perfect for this style of design.
