Wedding Invitations and Wristbands for Music Festival Fans

Music Festival themed Wedding Invitations and Wristbands – Festival Season is here, in fact we are well into it at this stage and there seems to be a music festival happening every weekend if not every other day at the moment. Wedfest were at Glastonbury Festival last weekend and have just about recovered and are knee deep in festival wedding season right now, working hard on awesome festival inspired wedding stationery designs with steam coming out of our ears! With festival season in mind we wanted to share this set of beautiful music festival themed wedding stationery inspired by this couples love of Glastonbury Festival. This is possibly one of the favourite designs at Wedfest HQ at the moment and its easy to see why…

The couple called Laura & Joe love music festivals and regularly attend Glastonbury and may others as much as they can. They wanted to bring the festival vibe to their wedding invitations and include all the things that make music festivals what they are such as the stages, the crowd, the fields, festival flags, bunting, tipi tents, flowers etc etc.

The title they opted for was WEDSTIVAL and they wanted the wedding invitation in a ticket invitation format where the guests could tear off the RSVP ticket stub to reply to their wedding invite. On the RSVP cards was an option for the guests to write their names, tell the couple of they are attending or not and an option to write in any dietary requirements. Once they did this they could simply pop into the pre addressed RSVP envelopes we also supplied with the invites.

The couple love the painted bins at Glastonbury and asked if we could somehow include a nod to those which we were delighted to do. The smiley face on one of the bins is particularly awesome looking.

To keep the festival theme going on the day of the wedding we also made the couple festival style wedding wristbands following the same design as the wedding invites. The colours of the woven fabric wristbands were the same as those used on the invites so beautiful shades of blues, purple, red, yellow, pink, white and green.

The wristbands had on the main wrist area the wording ‘Laura & Joe Wedstival’ and on the tails of the festival wristbands the date of the wedding and the location of Drayton, Norwich.

Other details included on the wristband design were some love hearts, the imagery of the festival crowd dancing and flying flags, the tipi tents from the wedding invites and the smiley face image which just makes you smile when you seen it! so, so cool!!

We loved working on this set of festival themed wedding stationery and it all turned out so cool as you can see in the photos. The beautiful red text of Wedstival set against the blue sky really pops and anyone who received these invites surely stopped in their tracks for a second wondering did they just get tickets to a huge music festival 🙂
